Family School
Family School is an alternative program offered by the Albuquerque Public Schools (APS). Students attend a public school program that combines a half-day of classroom instruction with a half-day of home-based instruction. This unique arrangement helps parents take an active role in the education of their children. Students develop their own knowledge by actively engaging in problem-solving lessons and community activities.

Albuquerque Schools 2School on Wheels
Founded in 1970, School On Wheels is a “school of choice” which emphasizes self-awareness, resilience, goal-setting, responsibility, team-work, and family/community orientation. Developing marketable job skills, students attend morning classes and work jobs in the afternoon. School On Wheels has a “city-wide” campus consisting of Main Campus (Five Points) and eight satellites.
